How
do I store my Belvedere Chocolates ?
We suggest you store Belvedere Chocolates in a cool,
dark, odor free space between 50…60°F. If you do not
have a storage room or a pantry, you may use your refrigerator
but be sure to put your chocolates in a sealed plastic bag, so
that no odors or moisture can be absorbed by the
chocolates. We recommend that you bring your chocolates
back to room temperature before consuming them.

Does
freezing extend freshness ?
We believe that freezing does not extend freshness
and certainly does not improve flavors and taste. If you
freeze them for any reason, be sure to pack them in a 100 %
sealed plastic bag, so that no moisture or odors can reach the
chocolate. Defrost the product slowly by putting the
frozen package in your refrigerator first and then
bringing the chocolates to room temperature.
Note that we do not guarantee that a frozen product will have the same
quality as a fresh product.

Why
do I sometimes see a white discoloration on chocolate ?
The
discoloration you see is called a bloom. It is caused by
the separation of the cocoa butter in the chocolate from the
cocoa solids and happens usually when chocolate is stored too warm.
It
is no indication of chocolate gone bad, nor does it affect the
taste.
